Here's a great copy of The BOB SEGER SYSTEM'S LP MONGREL pressed in 1975 on the CAPITOL LABEL. CAT# ST-500499.  The original pressing was in 1970, and is a gatefold.  This pressing was the only US pressing in 1975, and the first time after 1970 this LP was pressed. Here are the notes;
1975 Re-issue, without gatefold on orange Capitol label; Manufactured by Columbia Hosuse, 51 West 52nd St. New York, NY 10019, Under License frin Capitol Records, Inc. Back cover does not contain RIAA logo on the orignal issue.
It's a rocking LP without the "hits" that would come later.  In a way, a much better play, as the band was young and rocking, with no pressure from the powers that be yet to write catchy songs to sell.  It's excellent rock.   The LP looks and plays NEAR MINT with a beautiful gloss to the vinyl.  A great play, like it was new.  The LP cover presents itself well with great cover colors, and a textured cover.  There's a bit of shelf wear on bottom seam, and a small 1/4" corner ding top right.  Back cover has indentation lines that run horizontally top and bottom, both about 1" from the edge.  The LP must have been stored tightly, and this pressed against the interior cardboard that the back cover is pasted to.. Still a handsome cover, despite the few flaws.  It's VG+
