PROFESSIONAL RECORD CLEANING SERVICE IN MANHATTAN NEW YORK
This listing is for cleaning 10 LP's on a Loricraft PRC-6 record cleaning machine , a top performer that makes sure your dirty records will get all the muck out from the grooves with a medical grade pump. Being a nozzle type vacuum cleaner it offers the most effective and careful way of cleaning your beloved LP's as well as leaving them dry and completely free from static. It offers not only better cleaning than the run of the mill vacuum wand machines like VPI , Nitti Gritti etc. , but it keeps them dust free for way longer. Do not compromise , I have 2 decades of experience in record cleaning and this is what I do:
1) Very dirty records will first get a pre water rinse to avoid superficial dust mixed with the brush.  2)The disc will get cleaned in both directions until all fingermarks etc. is gone. I use L'art de Son (bio non alcohol fluid) mixed with lab grade distilled water. Sometimes a small amount of 99% Isopropyl alcohol and distilled water is used as a pre wash although in most cases this is not needed. I also sometimes use AIVS three step fluids for problematic records with lots of noise. If you prefer your LP not being treated with any alcohol , just let me know when you order. 3) When the fluid has worked itself into the grooves for a while it will be sucked up by a very powerful nozzle suction arm that leaves a clean and much more silent record. For problematic records I will repeat the process or do a water rinse and vacuum as well. I will listen to the record to determine if these extra steps is needed. 4) Your dry and clean LP will be put in a high quality Japanese rice paper sleeve and your jacket will get a high quality outer sleeve. All this is included in my service. 5) Your record is being sent in a whiplash or similar high quality wrapping to you / or you pick the record up in person midtown Manhattan , New York. For high value items you have the option of return shipping with tracking and insurance if you let me know in advance , please ask. For normal items I will use standard Media Mail.
This listing is for 10 LP's and is intended for US collectors who has LP's that needs cleaning , but who are not willing to pay the high price of the best cleaning machine. I will clean any amount of records within reason , please ask. You are responsible for sending your records or deliver them to me. Records can be delivered in person and be picked up the following day or even as you wait by appointment unless a very large number of records is to be cleaned. I will wrap them safely after cleaning in whiplash or similar high quality boxes if we are dealing by post.
Please note: Almost all LP's benefits from a professional cleaning , although I do not recommend sending LP's with serious damage such as deep scratches and groove damage as no machine can fix what has been broken. If the quality of the vinyl was poor from production or has been completely stuck to an old molded plastic sleeve , in some cases surface noise cannot be completely removed. On the vast majority of LP's in good condition , a much more silent background and better sound is the result.
