Our GRADING for pskorst and bigbillkorst2 (our sister record ebay names) is  E+ (or NM) rarely use on 78s, E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. strict grading   Packing  We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 5" box. We have had few problems with damage on the many 1000s of records we have shipped so far.
  78RPM Decca 7609 Louis Jordan - Keep A-Knockin / At The Swing Cats' Ball, clean V to V+ This extremely rare (race series Decca) c1939 great Jazz / Blues / R&B / Rock artist 78 record is a clean medium V to V+, this is medium wear and flaws, no big or notable flaws, see my 10 photos above to judge the surfaces for yourself.  Graded visually.  Spindle holes and labels have mild wear.  Will be in the vintage sleeve it has been stored in for 7 decades. My dad told me the story about acquiring these 1940 ish race records in the early 40s (he was a teenager)--he went to the south side of Chicago (got a lead) and got a big stack of them and hauled them back a few miles by foot--this I believe was one of them--he said they were ridiculously rare.
