RARE 10" ACETATE - WITH A CLIFF RICHARD CONNECTION "OUTSIDER"

This 10" acetate was sent to Cliff Richard by the Tepper & Bennett publishers to
see if Cliff would be interested in recording this song. They also submitted The Young Ones and When The Girl in Your Arms, and all three were going to be used in the film The Young Ones, the first two got included but not Outsider. As fans will know, Cliff did record this
and it was released as a single and on the album "21 Today". The publishers recorded this at the Allegro Studios in New York using a small combo and solo lead vocal (not Cliff, sounds more like Gene Pitney). .
