Here’s an extremely rare, authentic original set of two different flyers for the same KNAC sponsored show on April 18, 1986 at the Country Club in the San Fernando Valley. One of the flyers bills Poison as the headliner with Faster Pussycat supporting (see pic #2 above), while the other shows the opposite (see pic #3). Also on the bill was Andy McCoy’s post Hanoi Rocks outfit Cherry Bombz. Both measure 8.5” x 11”. The one featuring Poison is in great condition with a single light crease down the middle, while the Faster Pussycat one has more creases and some wear around the left edge.
I’m selling these flyers for a friend who worked at Moby Disc Records in LA in the 1980s, a local retailer that sold tickets to a lot of these little shows on the Sunset Strip. He picked up most of them at the venues themselves, as they were handed to audience members while they filed out the door. Thankfully, unlike so many others, he threw them in his closet rather than the trash.
