This is a vintage 1960 Elvis Presley LP "G.I. Blues", featuring the soundtrack from Paramount's movie of the same name. The album was made by RCA Victor in the United States. The movie was a Hal Wallis production starring Elvis Presley and Juliet Prowse. The front of the album is labeled "New Orthophonic" High Fidelity. The record itself is labelled MONAURAL in large print at the bottom of the label. It features a black label, RCA white logo, and silver print on the rest of the record label. There is some scuffing and wear on the edges of the outer sleeve but the graphics remain vibrant. "G.I. Blues" was the third soundtrack album Elvis made, LPM/LSP 2256. It was released in both mono and stereo in 1960, and quickly climbed to the top of the Billboard Top Pop Album chart. It remained at number one for eleven weeks, according to Wikipedia. This album is untested and ungraded as it was a garage sale find. Please review the accompanying photos as they are considered part of the description.
