Pressing Features: Recorded At – Bradley's Barn Recorded At – Moss Rose Studio • Early in 1970, the Shelter label was red with an egg image bearing an inverted Superman logo. First presses have this label. • From mid-1970 to 1973 the Shelter logo was usually overstamped (obscured) with a black rectangle to avoid copyright infringement with DC Comics. This Copy is a 1972 Repress with the overstamped black bar on Shelter Logo Label and pressed by Capitol Records Pressing Plant, L.A. (✲). Matrix / Runout (Side A etched): 1-8908-F-2- Matrix / Runout (Side B etched): 2-8908-F-2- Matrix / Runout (Side A & B stamped): 2 ✲ Label: (VG+/EX)
Very clean Shelter labels with no spindle wear or blemishes.
Record Grading: (VG+/EX)
Record surface is very clean, bright and glossy with faint hairline sleeve marks which do not affect playback...plays crisp and clean with minimal surface or background noise and occasional light crackle.
Sleeve Grading: (VG-/VG)
Fully intact bright and glossy sleeve cover has ring, edge and corner wear with crackling edges beginning to chip mostly on spine, corners and top edge splitting; spine is mostly illegible.
