Selling-up my large record collection.
Originally issued in 1965, my copy is made in UK, probably from 1966. A bit of a classic cover, this tends to turn-up in people's record collections in films and such-like.
Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of the description, have a good look.
Cover - is front-laminated, pretty flat, with scallop creases and some wear, bumps and a tiny loss of surface, at the opening. Back is a bit grubby form handling and some little stains, also has a little note from original sale, and first owner's name and address in pen (small, top right).
Record - has a few damages as listed, but likely to play well. Side one has a fingernail impression at the end of the last track, and a couple of short scratches on the first track - from cueing stylus onto it. There's a mark / stain on the end of track 4 and beginning of track 5.  Side two - I see three marks / stains, a small one on track 2, and two larger ones on tracks 3 and 4. A scratch coming out of the lead-in, onto track 1. Both sides have further light scratches, noticeable under a spotlight but not remotely serious.
I've done a play-test on side one - plays very well with great original sound - some light crackles in quiet parts of "Change Gonna Come",and some more crackles here-and-there during the last track.
Quite a sought-after record.
When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.
Postage at cost within UK - £3.10 plus 50p for a proper record mailer with two stiffener sheets of cardboard (or whatever's appropriate). Happy to do combined postage wherever practical. I'll charge you what it costs me - so anything up to six (or so) LPs would still be the same charge, £3.60. If you buy several items on the same day, and you're looking for combined postage, don't pay, and message me to ask for an invoice that includes combined postage.
Dispatch will usually be "next day". Collection in person is welcome.
I'm happy to send this overseas. See below for details, if bidding from outside UK - YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS STUFF.
I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer. They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer. This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.
Please be sure that you understand what the postal charges will be, before bidding.
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid. HOWEVER, if you win several items, and pay for them all in the same payment, their system may well spot this and do combined postage. If this happens, pay what you're told, and I will refund the excess postage paid to me - if you buy three LPs, I would be getting three lots of £3.50, but I can send all in one parcel, so I only need one lot of £3.50, usually. The exception is, if the items you buy weigh more than 2 kilos altogether, I need to make two parcels - there is a special cheap postage rate in UK, for parcels under 2 kilos.  Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme. If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid. International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!) Australia Austria Belgium Bulgaria Canada Croatia Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Ireland Israel Italy Japan Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Netherlands New Zealand Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand Turkey Norway Poland Portugal Romania Russia Slovakia Slovenia Spain Sweden, United States, Antigua & Barbuda Aruba Bangladesh Barbados Belize Bermuda Bolivia Brunei Darussalam Cambodia Cayman Islands Dominica Ecuador Egypt French Guiana Gibraltar Grenada Guadeloupe Guernsey Iceland Jersey Jordan Liechtenstein Macau Maldives Martinique Monaco Montserrat Nicaragua Oman Pakistan Paraguay Peru Reunion Saint Kitts & Nevis Saint Lucia Sri Lanka and Turks & Caicos Islands Applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid.
I don't send to China (because I prefer not to), and I also don't send to Japan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
