CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks okay; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing on back, heavier scuffing on front; tiny surface abrasions and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is mostly easy-to-read (text is crooked) with some wear. Some shelf-wear along top-edge, heavier wear along bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. 1973 pressing with orange label. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Hand Sown ... Home Grown was Linda Ronstadt's first solo release following three Folk Rock albums with her band The Stone Poneys. The album saw Ronstadt take a decisive turn toward Country and Rock. Among others, Hand Sown... features covers of songs by the Flying Burrito Brothers and Bob Dylan. The album was a commercial failure and sold less than 10,000 copies before her next album release. The album features an early version of Silver Threads and Golden Needles, Ronstadt would record the song again in 1973. That single release would reach the Top 20 of Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart in 1974.
