Here's a great LP, THE ROLLING STONES, BEGGARS BANQUET - pressed in 1968. This copy is a BESTWAY PRESSING and was pressed on 8/19/68. How do I know that? It's etched in the runout. This LP was a return to the Stones blues rock, after a quick side trip with Between the buttons, and Satanic Majesties. This was also the last LP the Stones released during Brian Jones life, but his contributions had dwindled with his erratic behavior, and penchant for chemical amusement aides. Many of the songs on the LP featured Keith on both rhythm and lead guitar as a result of Brian's situation. That's something that is unique to this LP. These OG pressings from 68 sound great.
The Cover is VG+ because there's a faint brown stain next to DEAR DOCTOR on the back cover. See photos. It's not bad, but someone had a spill...
VINYL is VG++. The gloss has faded a little, but it's super clean, and with no marks. Has minor insignificant sounds between trax. Really no big deal. An amazing relic for a 53 year old Stones LP. There are a couple spindle marks on the label.
OG INNER is in fantastic NEAR MINT condition. No splits or folds. It is very slightly toned, but sharp and vivid.
Does not include Credit for track B2 "Prodigal Son" to Rev. Wilkins on the label.
Include the text "Written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richard" on the back cover. See Picture.
It comes in a gold-bordered gatefold cover.
Cat # PS-539 appears on the label.
Cat # PS 539 spine and rear sleeve, bottom-middle.
The band's name is given as:
Rolling Stones [on front sleeve]
The Rolling Stones [on labels]
VINYL NEAR MINT COVER VG+ OG INNER. NEAR MINT
