The Who “Who’s Last” Vinyl LP/Album 1984 MCA Records. This album captures The Who live performances on their 1982 American and Canadian tour. The outside of the album is in very good shape, considering its age. There is a little wear along the top, bottom, spline and the edge of the album opening area. The color vibrance of the album looks very good. There is a little wear to the left of “The Who” that is circled in the upper middle part of the front cover. There is also a scratch towards the bottom left corner and another scratch just below the “A” in LAST. There is also a light wear spot at the very bottom middle of the front cover. The back cover has a scratch in the upper left and a crease in the bottom right hand corner. The gatefold is in very good to excellent condition.
The inner sleeve for Sides 1 and 2 is the original sleeve that came with the album and provides details about their tour and has a photo collage of the band members live on stage. It is in very good condition and is intact with no tears, separation or slits. It has small creases on the upper right and bottom left corners. Also, the inner sleeve for Sides 3 & 4 is the original sleeve that came with the album and is in very good shape. The only issue is a slit in the bottom of the sleeve from where the vinyl penetrated through the the thin material. This sleeve has a photo collage of the band members on stage during the tour and the song listings for the album. The condition of the Vinyl on both discs is not the best. I would probably consider the condition acceptable. First, both vinyl records need to be cleaned with a DiscWasher System. However, there are scratching issues on all 4 sides of the discs. It has been over 30 years since I last remember playing this album, but don’t recall any playback issues or the needle skipping. However, I make no guarantees, as I no longer have a turntable to test the album.
**Note: I am not a professional appraiser nor I am not a grading or condition expert. I am giving my honest subjective observation of all aspects of the covers, spline, sleeves and the LP itself. Please view all photos carefully before you bid, offer or purchase. This album is from my personal library/collection of Vinyl LPs/Albums and I’m not a dealer, collector or reseller. All of my LPs/Albums have been stored in a temperature controlled environment for all these years. If you have any questions or want to request any additional photos, including close-ups, I will be happy to cooperate. I prefer to provide the customer with as much information before purchasing than to handle complaints and returns later.
The $1.00 handling charge is to cover the cost of the special Vinyl LP/Album cardboard shipping container. They cost more than 1.00 each. Please know that I am not making money off either the shipping or this additional handling charge, just covering most of my shipping expenses. I am using these special boxes to hopefully ensure the LP/Album is not damage during shipment. I will ship USPS Media Mail, unless requested differently by the purchaser.
