"Little Bird Flies Into A Big Black Cloud" by the Microphones (2002) LP, hand painted jacket - NEW. Condition is "New"

A year after making the first hand-painted low quantity release for St. Ives ("Blood", 2001), I made another one.  This one was a quick one microphone recording of some notebook song/poems that had been published as a little chapbook of the same name.  Recorded Feb. 2nd, 2002 at Dub Narcotic. 

We pressed and hand painted 400 copies of this.  They sold out pretty quickly and, like "Blood", have been frequently requested by collectors over the past couple decades.  I've always said "sorry, no", knowing that I had a few copies in my archive but never quite getting around to a decision about sell/keep.  Now in 2021 I am deciding to keep one and sell the remaining few.  This is the second of those. 

This is "new".  Never been played.  Ragged handmade cover, just as it was born. 
The illustration here is letterpressed text with an india ink painting of some kind of elk, plus a floating yellow orb.  I painted it.
