"the Microphones Singers" is the band name on this, with the idea that there could be a parallel stream of singalong songs that were more folky, less owned by anyone, a big crowd of people singing all together.  It was 2000/2001 and such ideas were not yet obnoxious (I hope).  This is the only release under that band name, although I later put out a record just called "Singers" with the same idea.
This record is from the archives, new condition, never played or sold or had anyone's grubby mitts sliming cheeto dust all over it.  Whatever grime is on there is intentional, original, from the time when I letterpressed the covers back in Community Print, across the hall from Dub Narcotic Studio where it was recorded.  Those were the days.
I think we made 1000 of these, definitely no more than that.  This is a rare chance to get a brand new one. thank you,  Phil Elverum
