           GTO's            Permanent Damage            Straight STS 1059
Up for auction is a complete and rare (in this condition) original 1969 U.S. pressing of the California cultural document that is the lp,"GTO's". Produced by FZ with a host of players like Nicky Hopkins, Jeff Beck, Lowell George and many of the MOI. The social commentary is very historically interesting, the playing is quite good, but the singing is not great. This is a complete issue with original Straight inner sleeve and the amazing booklet. Rare piece to be sure (like this).   
DEAD WAX INFO:  Side 1 has  STS-1059-A 1B  31027-A  RS6390 all etched into the dead wax. Side 2 has STS-1059-B  1B  31028-B  RS6390  all etched into the dead wax. First U.S. Straight pressing circa 1969.    VINYL VISUAL: NM with absolutely no issues. Played once or twice at most. No spindle marks on labels
VINYL PLAY GRADE: NM with AMAZING fidelity and almost no noise, even in the many spoken sections.  
COVER VISUAL: VG+ and a great example with a few minor issues. Almost NO ring wear, but seams are a bit tatty, with a 3" split top seam from the cover opening. Bottom seam is starting to split as well. Some minor corner bumping, and a delete clip top left corner. All in all, this is a pretty fair example that actually might be tough to beat.
BOOKLET GRADE: VG+ and much better, and really close to NM. Downgraded for some very slight aging spots. An excellent example. 
Comes with OG black printed paper Straight inner (VG+). Vinyl is held in a heavy plastic Audiophile inner.     DETAILS ON SELLER AND SHIPPING

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item). 
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g. 
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.

IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST.
