MICHAEL CHAPMAN FULLY QUALIFIED SURVIVOR 1970 HARVEST E.M.I. RECORDS PRESENTED IN A GATEFOLD SLEEVE PRINTED AND MADE BY THE E.J. DAY GROUP LONDON. SHVL 764. "STEREO" ALBUM CONCEIVED, WRITTEN AND DESIGNED BY MICHAEL CHAPMAN. THIS IS A FIRST PRESSING WITH NO E.M.I. ON THE RECORD LABEL.
MATRIX NUMBERS: SIDE 1: SHYL 764 A-1U SIDE 2: SHYL 764 B-2U
SLEEVE:
THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE PRINTED AND MADE BY E.J. DAY IS IN GOOD CONDITION FOR THE AGE RETAINING MOST OF THE ORIGINAL GLOSS FROM THE LAMINATED FINISH BOTH SIDES, HOWEVER, THE SPINE AND TOP EDGE HAS AT SOME TIME BEEN RE-ENFORCED ON THE OUTSIDE WITH SOME STICKING TAPE THOUGH I CANT MAKE OUT WHY AS THERE ARE NO SPLITS. OTHER THAN THAT A LITTLE CORNER ROUNDING AND MILD CREASING, THE OPENING IS STRONG, THE COVER HAS NOT BEEN WRITEN ON.
VINYL:
THE VINYL IS STILL ENJOYABLE TO LISTEN TO THOUGH THERE IS BACKGROUND NOISE IN THE FORM OF CRACKLE, POPS WITH ONE STICKING POINT ON TRACK ONE SIDE ONE, THE REST OF SIDE ONE IS BETTER THERE ARE NO MORE JUMPS OR SKIPS. SIDE TWO IS MUCH BETTER AGAIN WITH LESS UNWANTED NOISE. VISUALLY THE VINYL IS VERY CLEANE AND SHINNY BUT DOES HAVE A NUMBER OF MARKS AND LINES PROBABLY DUE TO CLUMSY HANDLING, THE RECORD IS 52 YEARS OLD, IT CAN BE DIFFICULT TO FIND ONE IN REALY GREAT CONDITION
ALL IN ALL, A NICE COPY TO HAVE AND LISTEN TO, PERHAPS UNTILL A BETTER ONE COMES ALONG, THE CONDITION IS REFLECTED IN THE PRICE.
