MILES DAVIS LP IN BERLIN  a 1967 GERMAN STEREO FIRST pressing, on the CBS LABEL. CAT#S62976.  I have no idea why, if you're a record company, and you're releasing an album by the most transformative artists in a genre... why you wouldn't release it in the US?  But that's what happened in the case of this release.  It wasn't;t available in the largest market in the world.  It has subsequently been released in the US on CD, but still never on vinyl.  And, to make it sting even more, he's playing with Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams.  Each of whom are stars in their own right.  This pressing was the only one in Germany.  It sounds incredible, and the performance is great.

COVER VG++. The cover is laminated, and with a beautiful shine.  There are a few hairline bends that are small and emanate from the edges.  This is accentuated by the laminate because it causes a small air pocket.  It's typical with the flimsy European covers.  The seams and spine are perfect.  The back cover has a bit of ring pressing, especially bottom left.  Also, some finger smudge at the bottom center/right
VINYL. NEAR MINT --   An outstanding copy, and made exceptionally enjoyable by the great audio quality of the German recording.
