You are bidding on an original pressing of the US 12" single "Menergy/Megamedley" by Patrick Cowley. This 12" single was released by Megatone Records in 1983; cat. MT-103. This item comes to you in its original die-cut sleeve and is still partially wrapped in its original shrink wrap. What makes this item so rare is that the shrink wrap bears a rather historic sticker that reads:
"ATTENTION: 100% of Megatone's worldwide profits from this record will be donated to Gay Men's Health Crisis to help fight AIDS. Thank you."
This record was released in 1983, very early on in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
