Here's a fantastic LP from IKE AND TINA TURNER - OUTTA SEASON US STEREO LP 1968. BTS 5. This period from 1968-1972 is really prime time Ike and Tina. They were maturing as artists, and refined their sound from the rougher, more raw earlier recordings. Also, although they weren't producing "hits" they were consistently recording and touring, and at this time they were backing The Stones on their tour. Ike was also releasing some great solo LPs during this era. I'm a huge fan of it all. This album packs a great punch of everything great about Ike and Tina. And the cover is a great comment on race, as we all know the turbulence happening in the US in 1968. They couldn't go too far with it, as they were a crossover band, relying on mostly white audiences. This copy is in amazing condition.
