We have had few problems with damage on the many 1000s of records we have shipped so far.

Humphrey - Announcer - Bugle Calls, U.S. Navy Calls / US Army Calls clean V+  This rare circa 1917 WW1 era record is in V+ condition, this is a clean, medium 78 with run of the mill mildish 78s flaws, nothing notable or big wrong on this shellac, nice shape all minor, see my 10 photos above to judge the shellac of this copy for yourself.  Graded visually.  Spindle holes and labels have medium wear.  Will be in the vintage sleeve it has been stored in for many decades.
