Jackie Greene Record Store Day Bundle 2X 7"+2X 10". Lets get started. On 420/2013 Jackie self releases the 7" 45, Love Is A Shining Catastrophe b/w Sweet Somewhere Bound. Recorded live at Swedish American Hall in San Francisco. This is Jackie solo with Nathan Dale joining on the b side. This piece was a record store day exclusive limited to 1500. Then for Black Friday the same year 2013 he releases the 10" EP, Small Tempest. Also self released, this 10" was recorded at his home in 2007. Songs are, Call Me, Corinna, The Gambler, Brokedown Emotion featuring Tim Bluhm on vocals, Caroline and Love Is A Shining Catastrophe. This piece was limited to 1000 and was a Record Store Day exclusive of an out of print EP. That same day Trigger Hippy which is Steve Gormans', the original drummer of the Black Crowes and only existing original member other then the Robinson Brothers thru everything but the current tour. Lets face it, its cheaper to pay day players instead of 20 year band members, which is sad but true. Anyway TH is Steves baby with Nick Govrik and Tom Bukovac on bass and guitar, this version of TH included the dual vocals of Jackie Greene and, What if God Was One Of Us' Joan Osburne. They were both working with The Grateful Deads Phil Lesh and Friends at the time and both live in the Frisco area. Tracks include Turpentine, Heartache On The Line and Pocahontas, Ain't Persuaded Yet on the b side. This version of the band lastest thru an album and Steve with Nick and Tom, reformed TH again around 2019 with a new vocalist. This piece, also a 10" EP, was limited to 1000 piece released and released thru Turkey Grass Records.. Then finally from 4/18/2015 RSD, the 7" 45 of Light Up Your Window b/w Silver Lining. Consists of 2 tracks from his upcoming solo record. Released on YepRoc Records and limited to 600 pieces only in a regional focus release. All pieces but the first single are sealed.
