CONDITION DETAILS Includes 11-page color book with words and pictures of the songs. Vinyl plays with some crackles and a few light-clicks (play-graded). Gate-fold cover looks good, moderate scuffing, a few spots of surface abrasion, discoloration with darker spots (front/back). Some discoloration on inner-gate. Inner-sleeve is original (Disney ads); two seams partially split. Spine is somewhat readable with wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge with small splits at right side. Some corner wear. Opening is crisp with signs of use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Walt Disney Animal Folk, by Burl Ives, is cute and clever – it's almost worth owning just for the opening song, The Whale, which sets its playful lyrics to the tune of Dixie as played on a solo guitar – other songs use more elaborate accompaniment. As with virtually everything Ives did during the first 30 years of his career, the fun factor plays a big role in the appeal.
