It's taken 3 years-plus to sell the LPs and big singles from my large collection - so now we come to 7" singles. I sold the bulk of my singles during first lock-down, in big lots, but kept back the ones that had an individual value, and also my collections of my favorite artists - Beatles, Stones, The Who, Chuck Berry, etc. etc. What's coming-up, in the coming weeks, is the best ones, out of a collection of thousands.  I give the records a gentle clean, before listing them - which means I can see any damage, and it makes them sound better - if old singles sound bad, it's often dirt down in the grooves that is the problem.  I generally only assess condition of the A-side of the records. Sometimes, there will be a play-test, if it seems worthwhile, or if I want to hear it before parting with it!
Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of the description, have a good look. I have a box of spare 7" sleeves, so have tried to find correct sleeves for the records that don't have them. If I can't find a right one, either a close miss, or a collector's card-and-poly sleeve will come with it. A protective poly sleeve will generally be included.
So far as I can tell, an original USA Tamla copy of this, from 1967. Her records were popular on the Northern Soul scene, and this one would be pretty dance-able. Plays well.
Sleeve - didn't come to me in an original sleeve, so will be sent out in a collector's card and poly sleeve.
Record - Only A-side visually assessed - has several scratches and marks, and a thing like a stain on the last part. I've done a play-test on the A-side - it plays excellently well, with a nice big sound.
When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.
Postage at cost within UK - £1.99 for one or two singles. Three or more, £3.20.  One can send up to 2 kilos (which is a LOT of singles) for £3.20. For UK buyers - if you buy several items on the same day, and you're looking for combined postage, don't pay, and message me to ask for an invoice that includes combined postage.
Dispatch will usually be "next day", if you pay promptly. My auctions end on Sundays, and I post on Monday afternoon. I only go out to post once a week, during the present pandemic, so if I receive payment after 13.00 Monday, parcel goes into the next Monday's posting.  Collection in person is usually welcome, but not when there are lockdown rules in effect, which forbid it.
I'm happy to send this overseas. See below for details, if bidding from outside UK - YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS STUFF.
I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer. They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer. This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.
Please be sure that you understand what the postal charges and any customs charges / import duty will be, before bidding.
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid.
Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme. If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid. International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!) Antigua and Barbuda, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Australia, United States, Bahrain, Canada, New Zealand, Israel, Hong Kong, Norway, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Korea, South, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Bangladesh, Belize, Bermuda, Barbados, Brunei Darussalam, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Egypt, Guernsey, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Grenada, French Guiana, Iceland, Jersey, Jordan, Cambodia, Saint Kitts-Nevis, Saint Lucia, Liechtenstein, Sri Lanka, Macau, Monaco, Maldives, Montserrat, Martinique, Oman, Pakistan, Reunion, Turks and Caicos Islands, Aruba, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Chile, Bahamas, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Kuwait, Panama, Qatar, El Salvador, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay
Applicable customs charges will be shown to buyers - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid. Since "Brexit", customs charges are likely between UK and EU countries.
I don't send to China (because I prefer not to), and I also don't send to Japan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
