FREDDIE KING LP TEXAS CANNONBALL, a 1972 OG US pressing on the SHELTER record label.  This IS A WINCHESTER PLANT PRESS, AND IS IN SPECTACULAR CONDITION.  Freddie had a huge career.  Starting in 1961 with his recording career, he could do no wrong.  Every one of his albums is a treasure.  He was a huge influence on  guitar gods to follow.  Clapton is never shy about crediting him as his biggest influence.  But, the reality is that in 1961, pre Hendrix, the guitar was still not explored to its full potential in rock music.  There were just a small handful of artists that were really ripping it.  King was one, and a great one.  This LP was produced and recorded by the great LEON RUSSELL on his SHELTER RECORDS.  They brought in amazing players like JIM GORDON and CARL RADDLE who would be cornerstones of the ALL THINGS MUST PASS box set... Donald Duck Dunn from Booker T and the MGs, and LEON on keys.  This LP is fantastic.
COVER VG+. STILL IN FASCTORY SHRINK, has a couple moisture marks; bottom front left corner, and top front right corner.  Otherwise the cover is pretty pristine, and certainly not easy to find in this shape.
VINYL    NEAR MINT   The LP plays fantastic. A killer copy!
