ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS PRESLEY (LPM-1254) FIRST PRESSING with LIGHT PINK “ELVIS” COVER!

RECORD: This First Pressing grades a strong VG+ with full original gloss! Of course, there are some light scuffs and scratches associated with the grade, but nothing to impede the listening enjoyment. This Indianapolis pressing was test-played in its entirety and it played great, with no skips or repeats. RCA Victor’s “New Orthophonic High Fidelity” reigned supreme! The labels are clean and original, showing just a few light spindle marks seen under a bright light. This of course, is Elvis’ debut album. It Was released in March of 1956 and All 12 tracks were also released on 45 RPM and 45 EP! The matrix numbers on this record end with 6S/5S.

COVER: This scarce cover variety showing “ELVIS” in light pink letters grades VG with a 7-inch upper seam split as well as a 4-1/2-inch lower seam split. The spine is solid and fully legible. There is no tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover, though there is evidence of sticker removal at the upper right corner on the front. Some light soiling from handling on the back is noticed. A highly presentable cover! The original “onion skin” inner sleeve is included, but there are some tears and missing pieces observed. The record will be housed in a new white sleeve for shipping purposes.
