DESCRIPTION
The Rolling Stones - “Hot Rocks 1964-1971” London Records PS 606/ 7 (Stereo) from 1971. Hard to find Vinyl Classic Rock / British Invasion Double Album from The Rolling Stones featuring Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman, Mick Taylor and Charlie Watts plus guests. Includes most all of their Greatest Hits from their earlier era. In the Original Gatefold Cover with NO Cutouts, Promo markings or Barcode. Includes the "211 reasons why The Rolling Stones is the world's greatest rock and roll band" folding Discography Insert Sheet.
To be honest, I am not sure which of the many versions / releases of this album this is as its features do not line up exactly with any of the examples I am able to find online. I believe this is probably a 1981 reissue but I am including all of the pertinent info that I have so you can make an informed purchase:
The Gatefold Cover has the Sticker across the top with the Title and Track Listing.
Track B2 duration listed as 2:40 on label, 3:52 inside gatefold. Track B3 titled "Paint It, Black" inside gatefold.
The Blue with Silver Print London Labels have Matrix Numbers XZAL 11015/6/7/8 CJ which indicates either a Keel or Hauppauge Pressing (depending on which info you choose to believe). The Labels also include the “53” Pressing Plant code number at the start of the rim text as well as the “warnings”. There is no Publishing year info on the song listings.

CONDITION
The Gatefold Sleeve in nice shape. There is some slight basic shelf wear and corner softening/wear Still super solid with no cutouts, writing, splits, stains, tears, etc. and should still rate VG+. The Vinyl is in Pristine Glossy condition looking barely played. If you look really closely you might be able to spot a light scuff or two but very close to New condition with the exception of Side 3 which has two visible hairlines - not actual scratches that can be felt with a fingernail - and some scuffs. These do not affect play in any way. Plays Near Mint all through. I’m calling it EX to account for the slight visual flaws but plays better. The labels are Near Mint. The Insert Sheet is Near Mint.

TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less!
