Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run vinyl. Everything about this record is in near mint condition. There are no scratches visible on the record. There are no ticks or pops to be heard (even in the songs with quite passages). There is some vinyl noise between songs, but that is what I call "the sound of vinyl". I didn't buy this record when it first came out. By the time I bought it, I didn't have the time to sit in my bedroom and listen to it repeatedly (which is how most vinyl records got worn out). Instead, I was recording all my records to cassette to play in my car stereo. This allowed me to repeatedly play the "record" without wearing it out. That is why this album is in near mint condition. It's only been played, or handled, a handful of times. I've never touched the grooves with my fingers, so there has never been any possibility of dirt and oils getting into the grooves from my hands. I've never played the record without first cleaning it with a Discwasher (for anyone who remembers Discwashers) or anti-static shammies.
