This is an auction of a great COLLECTIBLE JAZZ VINYL LP RARE The Best of Bill Evans YELLOW LABEL PROMO 1st PRESSING '66 DJ PROMO NFS (Not for Sale) with PROMO STICKER on back VERVE V6-8747 Stereo MENDES COLLECTION BIDDERS NOTE: This LP is one of several rare Jazz LPs that I recently purchased from the collection of the late Jim Mendes, famous Cape-Verdean broadcast pioneer Rhode Island Disc Jockey DJ from the 1940s, 50s and 60s on WPAW in Pawtucket and WICE and WJAR in Providence, RI. Mr. Mendes was a lifelong Jazz fan and host of the legendary "Till Dawn" show. He was inducted in 2009 into the Rhode Island Radio Hall of Fame. Songs by Billy Taylor and others were written in his honor.
Condition: Record is visually graded as VG+ with some light marks, cover is about VG with light corner tip wear, light foxing and light brownish discoloration and a few spots inside the gatefold.
