Rolling Stones Exile On Main Street 2lp 1972 Vinyl LP Record 69100 gatefold tape.

Gatefold Sleeve  2 LPs 2 original inner sleeves

Truly one of the greatest albums ever released...  Gatefold sleeve this is clearly a super early edition. Just a shame that it has a slight faded sleeve. With tape added historically to the spine and the 2 inner sleeves ..... This Double LP has seen a lot of action! The sleeve is in good condition - though historically taped together with sellotape. Not damaged anything,  but left a yellow hue. (Couple of snags and tears along the bottom and one where the former price tag would have been - see photos). Inner sleeves both also taped up. Likewise the vinyl has seen some heavy play. Lots of surface marks but not deep scratches, just a well played piece of history. Good to fair condition. Still playable so not quite collection filler, but well played!  As mentioned as well - the sellotape clearly added at least 20 years ago detracts from the sleeve - but holds it together well - if a little yellowed!

But this is a great piece of history for the collector. Also a great chance to own a super rare LP - without paying an arm and a leg!

As ever any queries do not hesitate to contact me.  Though also please read below -

COMMENTS ::

QUESTIONS : As with all these LPS especially that i am selling - please do not hesitate to contact me with any specific questions, however trivial or specific. I will try and answer them as clearly, in detail and also as honestly as possible.

Condition. : I take a great deal of effort in describing these items in as much detail as possible. I am also as accurate as possible. Obviously I dont have the time or ability (or in some cases the desire!) to listen to these LPs. So grading is visual.

REFUNDS: With my LPs only however please be clear - I do not accept people contacting me after auctions to ask for partial refunds when i have tried to give as much detail as possible. Happy to refund in full upon return of item - return post paid by buyer (except where i am factually wrong obviously). This is not personal - just from experience I have had 2 people contact to say they want partial refund or will leave bad feedback! Thats just blackmail as well as horrible!!

I try to be as accurate as possible and use the below system as closely as possible -

GRADING SYSTEM:

M Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Ex Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Vg VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

F FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.

The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

P POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

B BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
