”The Beatles” (aka The White Album)

The LP, remixed for the 50th anniversary in stereo by Giles Martin, is in absolute mint condition and is still sealed in its factory wrapping.

Completely untouched and unplayed !!

Originally released in December 1968, this historic double album featured lots of new material written while the Beatles were out together in India - returning to the U.K. with lots of demos to record (many of which are now in the public domain).

The diversity of the songs showcased each member to be at their creative peak, from sincere gentle and introspective songs, to what we now know as heavy hard rock, to the fun family singalongs.

Following Sgt Pepper was no easy task and as far as the cover was concerned, the all-white approach worked.

The first edition gatefold covers were pressed and embossed on the front with ‘The Beatles’ and each individually numbered.

In 2018 preparations were made to reissue The White Album with different stereo mixes under the supervision of Giles Martin.

This item is a rare and unique mint and still sealed version from the 50th anniversary set of releases that marked the occasion.
