Vinyl Record Grading System

Mint (M)

Disc: Unplayed, usually still sealed.

Sleeve: Still sealed, look perfect.

Near Mint (NM)

Disc: Look glossy, like new. May be played a few times but have no visible marks or warps.

Sleeve: Look shiny and fresh. May showcase very mild markings or signs of use, but with nothing noticeably amiss on the sleeve, liner notes, or any other packaging material.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

Disc: Sound close to Near Mint record, but show signs of use like very light scratches. Overall still look great.

Sleeve: Show some signs of use, with perhaps some mild tears along the edges, scratches, or signs of folding on the corners.

Very Good (VG)

Disc: Light pops or surface noise, but nothing overwhelming. Show more signs of usage. You can still enjoy listening the whole record without any significant issue.

Sleeve: Show signs of real use, with some tears, or perhaps tape, stickers, or writing from previous owners.

Good Plus (G+)

Disc: More surface noise or pops during playback. Show more scratches, but the record can still be played through without skipping.

Sleeve: Exhibit real imperfections such as tears along the spine and perforation or ?ring wear? along the edges of the disc on the front of the packaging.

Good (G)

Disc: More noticeable scratches or warps. Listenable but has significant noise. Such records are worth buying only if they are highly rare & collectible or very cheap (or free).

Sleeve: Still do their job of housing the disc. With obvious imperfections with seam splitting, folds on the corners, scratches, tears, and perhaps tape or sticker residue.

Poor (P)

We don't sell any records in Poor condition bu I may give them away for free.

Disc: Look very bad, barely playable. Not worthing buying.

Sleeve: Look terrible. The color will have faded and there may even be mold or water damage present.

We use plusses(+) and minuses(-) to indicate a record that is noticeably above or below the grade as rated. For example, VG++ is between VG+ and  NM.

Appreciate if you could give a positive feedback after the purchase and I will do the same.
