  ANDREW HILL       Dance With Death         Blue Note LT-1030
Up for auction is an original (1980) Blue Note LT series pressing of Andrew Hill's fantastic 1968 session, "Dance With Death". Sat in the vaults for 12 years until Michael Cuscuna (what a legend) resurrected the session. Great front line work from Joe Farrell and Charles Tolliver. Vastly underrated session, one of many great Hill late 60s recordings. Somewhat more accessible than other Hill sessions of the era.
DEAD WAX INFO:  Side 1 has N-47 LT-1030- A UA JImu etched into the dead wax. Side 2 has N-47 LT-1030-2 UA- JImu etched into the dead wax. Original first press Blue Note LT series, circa 1980.   VINYL VISUAL: VG+ and way better overall with a few light marks. Side 1 label has a bit of fading 
VINYL PLAY GRADE:  VG+ AND MUCH BETTER with EXCELLENT FIDELITY and a very low noise level consistent with this pressing. Tough to beat for sure.           
COVER VISUAL: VG+ with some minor corner creasing, and some minor general wear.    
Comes with original Blue Note poly-lined die-cut paper inner of the era.    DETAILS ON SELLER AND SHIPPING

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item). 
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g. 
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.

I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory.       SINCE SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE (Thank You Canada Post), I will rarely list gatefolds or multi-items for sale overseas. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST. Since a lot of the stuff that I will be selling is of higher end quality, rarely will things be offered overseas. Sorry folks. Again, I can consider requests on an item-by-item basis.
