Where it all began - Metallica’s debut album from 1983 and the beginning The Batch 100 Vinyl features the debut single “Whiplash” that put the band on the map and was the beginning of songwriter duo Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield. Fun fact: the original title proposed by the band was ‘Metal up your Ass’ and featured a toilet bowl - thankfully someone nixed that idea as any plumber can tell you - featuring a lavatory on your album is never a good idea.
