Interesting and rare classical album from modern composer, Kaikhosru Sorabji who died in 1988. He was Indian born in 1892 was raised in London, England- considered a romantic and also a recluse- was able to focus his talents due to a trust fund that his father set up. The first commercial recording of his works were made when the composer was over 80, and the pianist on this lp - Michael Habermann, had dedicated his life to showcasing this composers works. This LP from the Musical Heritage Society features 2 long works that are approximately 20 minutes each in the nocturne style.
