The Beatles Please please me  1st UK Mono Press BLACK/GOLD Northern Songs 1N MATRIX GP / GH

Very low numbers on the northern songs edition and don't come up very often

It was found in Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve and at 1st look the vinyl had loads off bag rash marks etc but when played

On the 1st side the music was great crakles etc in between songs as every song that was being played it sounded ok from the off and as I got to the 3rd track on side 1 there was a jump but to my belief it played through fine

As I said I've graded it as Good+

( I HAVE SEEN WORSE THAN THESE BATTERED AND SMASHED BUT TO MY AMAZMENT I KNOW ITS 59 YEARS OLD BUT IT PLAYED OK AND SOUND WAS GREAT HERE AND THERE ETC

ON ONLY THAT TRACK 3 SIDE 1 WAS THE ONLY PROBLEM

SIDE 2 PLAYED GREAT NO JUMPS NO CLICKS OR STICKS ETC I WAS IMPRESSED WITH HOW IT WOULD PLAY BUT AMAZING TO HEAR IT DID PLAY OK AND ALSO GREATFULL TO HEAR THE SOUND WAS FINE AS WELL ON THE Audio side

Must say SIDE 2 looks better than side 1

I must also say the labels are really nice and clean again on the fair condition etc normally ripped and darker faded etc

This iam impressed of the labels which are still in great shape

This rarity is a wanted item as this one on Northern Songs credit gotta say

Fadley Comes up as we know was the lowest not the highest in numbers as the dick James credit

These items are for investments and as you know these ones with great labels as you know if its been played and only the slightest marks etc and been loved and cherished etc then this item has history off being in a beatles collector and maybe with the labels looking very nice I always say that sometimes you have to take the salt with the wound what  everything was given but honestly to say this is how everything has a story
