Most of the UK/European records were acquired on my recent visit to the UK. The rest of the records listed I found throughout the years and deciding to part with.

Press Info: 1st US Press

To be transparent, I acquired 2 copies of this record from a lady who was moving out of LA. One copy has a blue cover and the other is purple. Both have the same matrix numbers and include the lyrics sheet. The blue one also included the KRS mail order insert. I was unsure if the purple cover was a first press as it seems the blue one is the one. I found no information as to what this purple cover is. I did read that the record was in print from release day till 1998 (before the 1999 colored repress) and the KRS mail order inserts could be from 1996, 1997, or 1998. The blue copy had a 1998 insert. Knowing this and that the matrices are the same as the first press, I am selling as so.

Vinyl Grade: VG+/VG

Has some hairlines and marks. I caught a scratch on S1T1 that went along the groove and caused a very slight pop noise for just a few rotations. Some light slight surface noise at times but playback is mostly VG+ throughout. Ilistened to a majority of it and it plays real well overall. Quite clear.

Cover Grade: VG++

In shrink. Very slight wear to exposed areas but looks great. Lyrics sheet in great condition

GRADING SCALE:

SEALED / MINT - Record jacket is sealed. Disc is sold “as-is.”

NM - Super clean record with basically no imperfections. Appears unplayed or barely played at all. I’d use this rating extremely infrequently

EX - Basically either spotless visually or sounds extremely clean. 

VG++ - Has extremely few light marks. Very clean

VG+ - Has some imperfections, such as hairlines or scuff, but looks clean and plays well

VG - Similar to VG+ but has more imperfections. Records VG and up will not typically have any scratches deep enough to be felt. 

VG- - Fair amount of imperfections or scratches that may affect playability. 

VG-- - Plethora of scratches scattered throughout. Literally scratches/hairlines everywhere.

G - Imperfections and scratches throughout including scratches that cause playback issues and can be felt. 

*I usually will give either a quick listen to the record or possibly the whole thing to give a better description of the record you are receiving. I will mention in the description if I have listened to the record or listened to the whole thing. So if I didn’t mention I listened to it in the description, assume I didn’t. 

**I dont grade records considering the spindle marks. I might not even mention it but if it catches my eye I will mention so. If that is an issue for you, ask ahead of time.
