Up for your consideration is this very rare Mid-70's SEALED VINYL LP COPY of KISS' ☆HOTTER THAN HELL☆!!!!
Unfortunately, without opening this record, it is impossible to tell if it is an original 1974 copy or a slightly later one. However, there are a number of clues that offer some insight.
- The catalog number coincides with a first pressing (NBLP 7006). - The store tag is from Two Guys, which closed in 1982. - There is also no barcode. Therefore, it must be before 1979. - The price tag is suggestive of mid 70's pricing. - The back cover doesn't say CRC (Columbia House Records Club), which they released in 1977.
With all of this being said, this record was likely pressed between 1974-1978. However, as mentioned, it would be impossible to confirm without opening and looking at the matrix on the runout groove.
CONDITION: The outer sleeve has just a little bit of ware (see pics), and a little bit of the cellophane is missing around one corner, but it is in otherwise very good shape.
