Up for sale is a brand new, sealed limited edition first (and only) pressing of Counting Crows' classic 1999 album, This Desert Life. This extremely rare release features ten songs spread across two standard black vinyl albums. The tape masters of this album were reportedly lost during the massive Universal Music fire in 2008 - so a repress is an unlikely, difficult proposition.
The sealed record and inserts are assumed to be in mint condition. The jacket does have multiple minor visible flaws - an approximately one inch seam split across the top center of the jacket, a front small corner bump on the upper right of the jacket front, and a decent sized dent that scrunches up the lower left jacket front corner and the lower right jacket rear corner. All of the disclosed imperfections are pictured above. The album has been stored in my pet-free, smoke-free home since purchase.
