Up for sale here is a Rare Psych LP, the self titled (and only album) The United States of America (Columbia CS 9614 1968). While the music was clearly rooted in psychedelia, the album was remarkable for its early use of electronic music instrumentation and the absence of guitars.
Condition: Cover has bright graphics, some handling wear, bumping, fraying along the spine, and tanning/ light soil on back cover, including a few rings from a drink. Disc is in overall nice shape, very playable, with a few scratches on either side…the most noticeable ones on side 1 is about ½ in on outer edge of playing surface, and one about ¼ in near label; those on side 2 are about 2 ½ in across from the center and less than ½ in on outer edge.
This pioneering electronic / psych album is hard to find in any state, and mine is the best price anywhere.
Would make a great gift or addition to your collection.
