On Discogs the last record to sell like this was sold for $89.00 and was in vgd+ condition. Thus, this record was valued at a reputable record shop at 125. This is a Very rare record in mint condition! Cotton has a very unique guitar and banjo style as she plays these right handed instruments left-handed without reversing the strings like JimiHendrix !
Cottens’ style brings the rhythmic effort and the emphasis inherent in the thumb to the middle and upper strings while sustaining a traditional alternating MB bass with the fingers ! On this record this effect is most apparent in the building of rhythmic intensity and in the song “ Jumping Jack Flash”.
