BUZZCOCKS “I Am The Amazing 12” Clear Vinyl Maxi Single” “What Do I Get” Vnyl NM.

Really great Buzzcocks 45 RPM Maxi Single. 4 tracks with the featured single “What Do I Get”. Purchased at Tower Records Sunset nearly 45 years ago. The vinyl looks pristine and probably rarely if ever played. The thin “import paper” cover is in Excellent shape, just a little yellowing with age, a crease or two, and a tiny bit of pealing along on the spine. These import (I believe this record is from Australia) 12”s are ephemeral, and this one was never in shrink wrap and still has the Tower Records price tag ($5.99) affixed. Interesting how $5.99 in 1978 is equal to almost $28 today.

“What Do I Get” was the Buzzcocks second single (after “Orgasm Addict”) and once again the team of Pete Shelley with Producer Martin Rushent made something that was important at the time, and still sounds relevant today. Newly minted Alternative Radio was all over this song here in the U.S.
