TWO box sets with three records each (a total of six LPs).
GLENN GOULD plays the preludes and fugues from Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier Books 1 & 2. Columbia Masterworks (D3S 733 and M3 31525). Manufactured in the US. Released in 1971 and 1972, respectively.
Book 1: The vinyl is Excellent to Near-Mint. No visible scuffs or hairlines. Plays flawlessly. Some quiet passages exhibit faint surface noise which does not interfere with listening. The box is clean, with sharp corners. No stains, marks or cut-outs.
Book 2: The vinyl is Near-Mint. No visible scuffs or hairlines. Plays flawlessly; practically no surface noise. Record 3 (Preludes and Fugues 17-24) is slightly warped at the outer edge but plays perfect.
The box sets come from a non-smoking, no-pet household. I attach a small number of newspaper clips regarding Glenn Gould.
