This listing is for a RARE and HARD TO FIND IN NICE CONDITION 1st Pressing 1957 DOO WOP Lp on Herald Records titled: Herald The Beat, Herald Records number 0110. The artists and songs on this LP are: The Mello Kings "Tonite Tonite" and "Sassafrass". The Turbans "When You Dance". The Nutmegs "Story Untold" and "Ship Of Love". Faye Adams I'll Be True" " Shake A Hand" and "Hurts Me To My Heart". Charlie and Ray "I Love You Madly" and "Dearest One". Tommy Ridgley "When I Meet My Girl" Al Savage "Paradise Princess" and "I Had A Notion". The record is in a Clean Strong VG++ condition ALMOST M-!!! The Cover has Crisp, Vivid and Clean Front Graphics. The Back Cover does not have any writing or tears but there is fading a few shades off from the original bright white background. The cover grades at a NICE CLEAN VG+ and is not graded higher for two reasons. First there is some light peeling along the extreme right edge opening to the very thin laminate gloss that's over the front color graphics. Second reason is there is a bottom center seam split about 3" and the top paper seam dried out separated from the right edge to middle. The spine is still in tact, a little faded with the printing on the spine legible. I'll leave it to the new owner to do the top and bottom seam repair. Shipping in the U.S. is $5.25. If you would like Ins. on this, I will check the rates at the Post Office which go according to your Zip Code.
