Customer Service

Payments
Please can we ask that you make your payment, and if applicable collection, within 5 working days as we do not have the space to hold items for any longer. Items not collected within 5 working days of their original purchase date will be relisted, unless agreed in advance by a member of our team.

Paying Cash
Sadly we do not accept cash and only accept payment via the eBay managed payments system, information regarding managed payments can be found in eBay Help & Contact.

Collection Only
Some items are listed as 'Collection Only', this is because the item maybe too large for our courier service, too fragile for transit or we simply do not have the resources to package the item. These items cannot be sent by our team or packaged for third-party couriers and so you will need to collect from one of our locations in Essex and Hertfordshire. We can on some occasions arrange a ‘White Glove’ courier service, but this will be at an additional cost and would normally be invoiced separately via PayPal.

Spares or Repairs and Untested Items
Most of our electrical items are PAT tested, but you will notice that some are listed as 'Spares or Repair' or 'Untested'. These are items which can be faulty or we are unable to test, so please bid accordingly. We recommend that ALL electrical items are tested by a professional electrician before use.

Dispatch
Items paid for after 3pm are normally dispatched next working day. But we always aim to dispatch items within 2 to 3 working days of receiving payment using the shipping method outlined on your invoice.

Shipping to an Alternate Address
We cannot send your item to an alternate address once payment is made. Any requests will result in the cancellation of the transaction.

Local and National Shipping
We ship our national packages using either Royal Mail 2nd Class post or DHL Next Day Delivery Tracked Courier.

International Shipping
For International shipping, we are enrolled in eBay's Global Shipping Programme. This means that the prices quoted for International delivery are set by eBay's prices and they will send an invoice & combine shipping for you. Please make sure to check your countries postage restrictions, taxes and fees before bidding.

Combined Shipping
We are happy to combine postage where possible and will refund any savings via your eBay account. Due to the delicate nature of framed prints and mirrors, we ship these separately. We have a tried and tested way of sending this type of item, which has resulted in minimal breakages, so please do not ask us to combine shipping on this type of item.

Recycle x Reuse
At St Clare Hospice we aim to take recycling and reuse of products to the next level, which means that we use recycled packaging where possible. If your order arrives in unfamiliar packaging, please check inside the box to see if you have the correct item(s)!
Returning an Order
We are happy to accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Please open a return via the eBay returns centre if you would like to return your item and contact us for support if needed. Once an item is received at our office, a refund will be processed via eBay within 2 working days.

Damaged Orders
We go to great lengths to ensure that we package your order carefully. But sometimes things can get damaged in transit. If this does happen, please send us a photo of the item in the received condition and we will contact you to resolve the issue. Alternatively, please return the item via the eBay Returns Centre and we will credit your eBay account within 2 working days of receiving the returned item.
