Visual inspection suggests condition is generally Fair to Good+ with most somewhere in between. Some may fall below this and some are definately better. Basic rule of thumb here is the more the record is worth on discogs the worse condition it is likely in. I have tried to show a few relevant examples in the pictures. ACDC for example could be VG if not for some groove-ware. Pink floyd plays through OK but it has significant hairlines and surface noise (some might call this Good according to definition below, I'm not so sure so as such I'm grading this lot as Fair). Status Quo box set is easily VG+ condition throughout. Thin Lizzy records are probably VG/VG+ but the sleeve has been fairly butchered (see pictures). For the reasons mentioned above I have graded this lot as Fair as to not disappoint anyone.
Oh, almost forgot to mention, Boxcar Willie is still in it's shrink-wrap!
A record in Good or Good Plus (G/G+) condition can be played through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.
A Fair (F) record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully split, crinkled, and written upon.
