Sly & The Family Stone – Life 1973 US Epic Orange Label Reissue Funk, Soul

Sly and the Family Stone was an American band originating from San Francisco, California. Active from 1966 to 1983, they were pivotal in the development of funk, soul, R&B, rock, and psychedelic music. Their core line-up was led by singer-songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist Sly Stone. This is their third studio album which was originally released in September 1968 on Epic/CBS Records. The album was titled M'Lady in the United Kingdom. This is the US 1973 reissue.
The custom printed unlaminated card sleeve would certainly grade as EX.  It shows little signs of handling with minimal storage wear (slight corner rubbing/bumping) and a little ring and edge wear. The spine is clearly readable and the entry edge shows minimal signs of use. On the front of the cover the Epic logo and catalogue number are printed in top left corner.  On the back of the cover, the Epic logo is missing and cat# 30333 is located in bottom right corner.
There is no original inner.
The vinyl is without doubt EX and has not been played much. The reissue Epic orange bullseye labels are unmarked with only the hint of a spindle mark. On play grading there was some faint crackle on the run in on both sides and maybe a rare pop or click (certainly nothing to spoil the enjoyment of the record - even at high volume), during the remainder of the album. It plays superbly with very strong audio. The surface is very clean, glossy and shiny, a superb copy that conservatively grades as EX.
It is thought that the Matrix Numbers are as follows
Matrix / Runout (Side 1 (stamped)): XSB136787-1G Matrix / Runout (Side 2 (etched)): XSB136788-1H
