Hiroshi Sato's masterpiece "Awakening" reappears on color vinyl record!

Awakening was reissued as a vinyl record in 2016 by the analogue label GREAT TRACKS, but has been reissued again as a color vinyl.

Just like last time, world-famous engineer Bernie Grundman re-cut the original master tapes based on the high-spec sound source data digitally converted to 96KHz/24bit. While the previous work was pressed in the United States, this time it will be pressed at Sony Music's domestic factory and will be released on Clear Blue Vinyl (transparent blue). This work is the 4th original album released in 1982 by Hiroshi Sato after his music activities in Los Angeles, and is the first to transfer to Alpha Records. Featuring Canadian female vocalist Wendy Matthews, introducing the state-of-the-art drum machine Lyndrum at the time, this mellow soulful blended the high-quality sound sense of Hiroshi Sato with the atmosphere of the American West Coast. This album can be said to be an eternal masterpiece that shines in the history of Japanese pop music that transcends generations and still influences many musicians. Tatsuro Yamashita, Tsunehide Matsuki, and Yuji Toriyama will join as guitarists as guests!
