Selling a large amount of Beatles related items….. About 100 singles in total. in some instances I have copied other adverts and may have copied incorrect data / info. Please study photos – that is the item I am selling. Also please do not hesitate to ask. All dictated onto a software on the computer as well – so there are possible errors in the text when it mishears!! (Traffic became Afrique in dictation and Vinyl became Final !!) So please study the photos and don’t be afraid to ask !! Also happy to sell lots combined offers. Either buy one item and once fulfilled subsequent items can be combined afterwards, or happy to consider combined offers
Any queries do not hesitate to contact me. Initially though please also read below -
COMMENTS ::
QUESTIONS : As with all these LPS especially that i am selling - please do not hesitate to contact me with any specific questions, however trivial or specific. I will try and answer them as clearly, in detail and also as honestly as possible.
Condition. : I take a great deal of effort in describing these items in as much detail as possible. I am also as accurate as possible. Obviously I dont have the time or ability (or in some cases the desire!) to listen to these LPs. So grading is visual. Please note as well though – a lot of my discs are dusty and would benefit from a clean – see photos!
Also please ask for more images – happy to send.
REFUNDS: With my LPs only however please be clear - I do not accept people contacting me after auctions to ask for partial refunds when i have tried to give as much detail as possible. Happy to refund in full upon return of item - return post paid by buyer (except where i am factually wrong obviously). This is not personal - just from experience I have had 2 people contact to say they want partial refund or will leave bad feedback! Thats just blackmail as well as horrible!!
I try to be as accurate as possible and use the below system as closely as possible –
Please note – especially with batches / job lots of vinyl – especially 7” singles I have tried to describe as much as possible but it is not always possible to catch everything - a specific mark on the vinyl or even damage on the sleeve. Please ask or study photos clearly if there is a specific disc you are bidding for … I reiterate again - I am not a dealer, just a guy trying to get his music out to other fans!!
This also means I am open to considering offers – usually on the second time of listing. Please offer away and if remains unsold will usually accept (generally as long as I break even after Ebay fees , postage etc!)
Also – I am more than happy to meet to save on postage. I live in Edinburgh but also visit south Norfolk from time to time if either of these locations suit!!
GRADING SYSTEM:
M Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Ex Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Vg VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
G GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
F FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
P POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
B BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
