If there was one band that deserved to present themselves on a picture disc it was KISS. The artwork is outstanding as the beautiful green iridescent background is so cool! Gene Simmons appears to be the creative artistic brains behind KISS! Simmons was so far ahead of his time that even with the technological advancement in computers and graphic arts it's hard to imagine that one could create a picture disc so artistically inventive.
I have not attempted to clean this lp rather I just brushed the vinyl before placing the needle on each side. The record itself is in excellent to near mint condition as it has been play tested and plays through without any issues. Picture discs, colored discs and splatter paint discs etc. do not sound as good as traditional black vinyl. Please see photos to see the hairline scratches none of which affect the overall quality. This picture disc is perfect for framing . There is an iridescent quality to this picture disc that is certainly worth looking at in a room as opposed to keeping it in a sleeve inside a record collection. As a matter fact I can think of very few picture discs that will display as well as this picture disc in terms of interior design.
Seller will include a mobile Fidelity sound lab original master sleeve that is non-scratching, anti-static and of archival quality. A white generic outer sleeve will be included to protect and house this vinyl record.
