ELVIS PRESLEY – HAVING FUN WITH ELVIS ON STAGE (BOXCAR) “A TALKING ALBUM ONLY”

RECORD: VG- (NET) due to a thin piece of foreign matter that made its way into the production of the record while the wax was still a liquid, prior to being pressed. It shows up as a 1-1/2-inch long strand of thread (or something of the like) coming in from the dead wax trail-off into the recorded material. It is raised like a speed bump and will definitely result in skips or loud pops should you decide to play this portion of the record. If not for this oddity, the record would easily grade VG++ (EXC) as the surfaces are so clean and glossy! The “Boxcar” labels are clean and beautiful but show some light spindle marks.

COVER: VG+ on the upper end of the grade with no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. However, there is a lower right corner bend along with some minor foxing. Ring wear and/or surface scuffing is present, though it is light. This scarce album was sold exclusively at Elvis’ concerts beginning in August of 1974. In October of that year, RCA Victor began pressing the album on their orange label for sale in stores as part of Elvis’ Great LP Catalog.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
