Christopher Alvin Stapleton (born April 15, 1978) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Born in , Stapleton moved to in 1996 to earn an engineering degree from , but dropped out to pursue a career in music. Shortly after, he signed a contract with to write and publish his music.
